1. What does TECSYS do?
TECSYS is a market-leading provider of warehousing and distribution solutions. The Company develops and markets its enterprise warehouse management software, distribution management software and transportation management software, along with related professional and support services. TECSYS also markets third-party products including those developed by partners such as Oracle Corporation, IBM Corporation, Psion Inc., Cognos Incorporated, and Intermec Systems Corporation.
2. What is TECSYS’ market?
TECSYS primarily targets mid-sized operations with a strong warehousing and distribution focus; it also has a growing list of blue chip customers. Key, high-growth sectors include healthcare and high-volume industries such as packaged gas, import-to-retail, industrial distribution, Cat® dealers and third-party logistics providers.
Geographically, the Company sells and services its solutions directly in North America and Europe. It retains 22% ownership in TLA (TECSYS Latin America) its distributor for Latin America, who has offices in Venezuela, Columbia and Chile and services clients in 12 countries in the region.

5. What are the Company’s sources of revenue?
TECSYS generates revenue both from products and services. On the product side, it licenses proprietary software and resells third-party software and hardware. For information on the breakdown of sales, please see TECSYS’ annual and quarterly reports.
On the services side, the Company’s sources of revenue are professional fees associated with implementation assistance, consulting, training, product adaptations, and recurring revenue from hosting services, maintenance contracts and customer support.

11. Has TECSYS ever had a share repurchase plan?
The Company has periodically issued bids for the repurchase of common shares for cancellation under the Normal Course Issuer Bid (NCIB). Since its initial public offering, the Company has repurchased a significant number of outstanding common shares. For further details see the Stock Buy-Back section of this Web site.
12. What is TECSYS’ dividends policy?
Dividend policy is determined by the Board of Directors, taking into account the Company's financial condition and other factors deemed relevant. On February 26, 2008, TECSYS' Board of Directors announced that it has approved a dividend policy whereby it intends to declare a cash dividend of $0.02 per common share to its shareholders to be distributed following the release of its financial results of the first and third quarter of each financial year. On September 10, 2009, TECSYS announced that the Company's Board of Directors has decided to increase the semi-annual dividend to $0.025/share, a 25% increase in the dividends paid to shareholders. Furthermore on March 3, 2011, TECSYS announced that the Company's Board of Directors has decided to increase the semi-annual dividend to $0.03/share, this represents another 20% increase in the dividends paid to shareholders.
