Dave Brereton
Executive Chairman of the Board
Mr. David Brereton is the founder and current Executive Chairman of the Board of TECSYS Inc. Under his vision and leadership, TECSYS has grown from a start-up company to a leading international provider of software solutions to multinational corporations, achieving 300% growth between 1989-1992 and continuing to expand in more recent years. Mr. Brereton served as TECSYS' President until 1995. That year, The Financial Post and Arthur Andersen & Co. chose TECSYS as one of Canada's 50 Best-Managed Private Companies. In 1996, Mr. Brereton was named one of the country's Top 40 Executives Under 40, by The Financial Post, The Caldwell Partners, CTV Television Network, and Canadian Airlines. In 2000 he was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young and BMO Nesbitt Burns. Mr. Brereton is an early investor in Silanis Inc., a leading e-document technology company where he currently serves as a board member and chair of the audit committee. Mr. Brereton is also the National Director of Youth for Christ Canada, the largest teen-focused Christian organization in Canada, and is the founder of a fully accredited high school for marginalized youth in Montreal, Quebec.
Peter Brereton
President and CEO
Mr. Peter Brereton joined TECSYS Inc. at its inception and initially led the software development side of the company before moving on to product management and eventually sales and marketing. He was appointed President of TECSYS Inc. in 1995 and CEO in 1998 and was largely responsible for TECSYS' IPO on the Toronto and Montreal stock exchanges. He repositioned the company into the supply chain execution market in 1998 and has led the company's strategies to increase market share in the supply chain management software arena for high-volume distributed order fulfillment. In 2001, Mr. Brereton successfully led the company in delivering its Web-based supply chain management suite of applications.
Berty Ho-Wo-Cheong
Vice-President, Finance & Administration and CFO
Mr. Berty Ho-Wo-Cheong joined TECSYS in 1998 as VP, Finance and Administration and CFO. He has over 25 years of experience in the high technology field with both private and public companies, particularly with high-growth profitable public companies, most notably with Teleglobe Inc. where he became VP Finance & Admin and CFO of the Data Communications and Insurance Systems Divisions. Mr. Ho played a key role in helping TECSYS through the IPO process to become a public company. His experience spans the complete disciplines of finance, administration and information systems, as well as financial disclosure and regulatory compliance for high technology public companies. He oversees TECSYS’ finance, administration, management information systems as well as the financial planning, treasury, taxation and due diligence of potential acquisitions. Mr. Ho is a Member of TECSYS’ Executive Management team, and holds a FCMA from the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants (U.K.) and a CMA from the Canadian Certified Management Accountants.
Greg MacNeill
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Mr. Greg MacNeill joined TECSYS full time in May 2005, becoming a member of the TECSYS Executive Management Team. Prior to TECSYS, Mr. MacNeill was President and CEO of Application Solutions Inc. (ASI) which was acquired by TECSYS in March of 2005. He has held senior management roles in Sales and Business Development for Ironside Technologies and other leading ERP companies. Mr. MacNeill has a wealth of knowledge in the areas of ERP software marketing and sales along with an extensive and accomplished record in strategic business development and an outstanding track record of success in leading software and technology companies to high levels of growth, market leadership and customer satisfaction. Mr. MacNeill is a professional engineer and earned his degree in industrial engineering from the University of Toronto.
René Poirier
Senior Vice President and General Manager, ESC Group
Mr. René Poirier joined the management team of TECSYS in May 2004. As Senior VP and General Manager of the TECSYS Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Group, he heads up base account sales, R&D, Professional Services, Custom Enhancements, and Technical and Client Support Services departments for the Group. He brings to TECSYS over 20 years of experience in the high-tech sector where he has held senior management positions in information technology, product development, and professional services. Prior to joining TECSYS, Mr. Poirier was Chief Technology Officer at BCE Emergis where he provided the technological direction for product development and supported all technology needs for BCE Emergis’ business units across North America. Prior to BCE Emergis, Mr. Poirier led the development, consulting and support teams at the Montreal Stock Exchange and at the Caisse National du Crédit Agricole. Mr. Poirier holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Sherbrooke.
Mike Kalika
Vice President and General Manager, TLM Group
Mr. Michael Kalika has been with TECSYS since May 2005 and brings with him extensive experience in Supply Chain solutions and IT systems. He was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Transportation and Logistics Management (TLM) Group and member of the Executive Management Team in the Spring of 2006. Mr. Kalika held the position of Vice President Client Solutions at Applications Solutions Inc. (ASI), which was acquired by TECSYS in March 2005. Mike has held senior roles responsible for R&D, Pre-sales, Operations, and Client Technology Solutions for ASI, as well as his own consulting company, and at Russelsteel (a division of FEDMET inc.) and Samuel, Son & Co., Limited.
Tom Wilson
Vice President and General Manager, SMB Group
Mr. Tom Wilson was appointed Vice President and General Manager of the Small to Medium Business (SMB) Group in the Spring of 2006. He joined the company in 1988 as a Project Manager and has held a number of software development and customer service management positions within the organization. With more than 30 years experience in the software industry, specializing in distribution, Mr. Wilson brings valuable expertise and leadership to the SMB division. Mr. Wilson started his career with MAI Canada and became director of software development before joining TECSYS. He holds a degree in computer science from the University of Toronto.
Robert Colosino
Vice President, Marketing & Business Development
Mr. Robert Colosino is responsible for marketing TECSYS' solutions. He focuses on the trends and directions that drive the complex requirements of new and emerging business models within the supply chain industry. Mr. Colosino works with industry associations, partners, and customers to develop joint marketing initiatives which help to establish TECSYS as the leading supply chain management software provider for the markets it serves. He has been involved with the development, deployment and communication of software solutions within the supply chain for over 22 years. Mr. Colosino has managed research and development groups within TECSYS and has assisted major industry players in adopting supply chain management technology.
Patricia Barry
Vice President, Human Resources
Ms. Patricia Barry rejoined TECSYS in 2003, after a three-year stint helping to build a start-up, Avantas Networks, which was acquired by EXFO Telecom. Between 1998 and 2000, Ms. Barry was Vice President of Human Resources of TECSYS, a key executive in building the Company’s human resources, and successfully deploying the compensation and employee relations plan during periods of high growth, acquisitions and mergers. Ms. Barry has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources management—eight years in the retail industry and over 17 years in the high technology field with such companies as EXFO Protocol, Positron Fiber Systems, Paramax Systems, Phillips Information Systems, and Bombardier. As TECSYS’ Vice President of Human resources, she is responsible for all North American employees. Her mandate has been the successful integration of employees from acquired companies into the TECSYS family, the hiring of top talent, and retaining key employees. Ms. Barry holds a BA in Industrial Relations from McGill University and is a member of TECSYS’ Executive Management Committee.
