Myth or Reality — One WMS Size Fits All, Explains Industry Veteran
MONTREAL, March 11, 2014 — In a dedicated seminar at Modex 2014, supply chain execution and warehouse management industry veteran, John P. Reichert, explains how to overcome the challenges posed by an unpredictable and fluctuating business environment on supply chains. Learn what critical considerations to include in your supply chain execution system and how to avoid costly mistakes when preparing for the unpredictable future. Truly a seminar not to be missed!
The only constant is change! In today's economic climate, supply chains are in a constant flux — new distribution models emerge and business strategies change. As a result, decisions on supply chain execution solutions are difficult. Immediate needs for improvements in both execution quality and operating costs drive short term actions. But future business changes too often become more difficult to implement. To avoid the high-cost of future challenges, it is more important than ever to consider future needs in today's decisions. This session will cover what you need to know before your operation changes whether expanding/shrinking, centralizing/de-centralizing, internal or 3PL-centric. Learn what critical considerations to include in today's decisions. What options are available for you today? What trade-offs you may be forced to consider. What happens if you guess inaccurately? Walk away with an increased awareness of actions to take today with your Supply Chain Execution systems to be prepared for the future before it arrives.
