MONTREAL, June 28, 2004 — TECSYS Inc. (TSE: TCS), a leading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software provider, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Indaba Trading Ltd. to implement its PointForce distribution software suite. TECSYS PointForce software will provide Indaba Trading with the edge in customer satisfaction, inventory management, and reporting to exceed the company's distribution and customer requirements.
"PointForce gives us immediate access to relevant information and tightens up our business procedures, with information flowing from order to shipping," remarked Bonnie Beck, Office Manager of Indaba Trading Ltd. "By eliminating the manual steps, we will enter the data only once and be able to track it, trace it, and report it as we need." Beck also stated, "We looked at many other software vendors in the market, including Great Plains and Business Vision, but discovered that what PointForce includes as standard features and functionality would require modifications in the other applications just to be on par."
Indaba sells over 750 gift items to independent and specialty retail outlets throughout Canada and the U.S. and manages commensurate levels of inventory. The company's current software application was not able to provide them with timely information, and too much time and effort were spent trying to manually analyze and track critical information. Indaba was also facing a challenge keeping up with the growing number of orders from Canada and the U.S. To keep up with this growth and expansion, the PointForce suite of applications allows them to continue to focus on their business and add future options automatically with no integration worries or business disruptions.

PointForce will be implemented at Indaba's 10,000-sq.-ft. warehouse in Parkville, British Columbia, Canada.
