FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ref. #NRE2004-15

World's Largest Value-Priced Golf Equipment and Accessories Supplier Upgrades with TECSYS to Manage Acquisitions and 20% Annual Growth

MONTREAL, June 30, 2004 — TECSYS Inc. (TSE: TCS), a leading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software provider announced today that King Par Corporation, the world's largest value-priced golf equipment and accessories supplier upgraded to its EliteSeries Release 7.2. TECSYS' enterprise suite of applications will provide King Par with the technological edge, strategic processes and information to meet and exceed the company's ever-growing and complex worldwide distribution requirements.

"Even though we have been a TECSYS user since 1999, our acquisitions and the increasing demands of customers prompted us to review the market to determine the best fit for our company," remarked Kelly Harrison, IT Director at King Par Corporation. "After a thorough search, we determined that the latest version of TECSYS' application suite, EliteSeries 7.2, has constantly evolved to meet and exceed the demands of the industry." Harrison continued, "TECSYS' knowledge of the distribution market and the latest enhancements in version 7.2 of the EliteSeries allow us to easily track and cost inbound shipments, and since EliteSeries 7.2 is Web-based, it allows us to easily connect our other divisions and remote salespeople."

King Par Corporation recently purchased the Orlimar Golf Company, which was one of the factors that prompted the company to initiate a search for a new solution. Orlimar was using MAS 90, and King Par was using EliteSeries 6.3. The company also wanted to be able to connect remote offices and their 60 remote sales representatives, so that they could use a single application. With King Par's latest acquisition, Asia had also become more prominent in the mix and, as a result, being able to handle container costs became critical. Container tracking allows King Par to capture the actual costs, regardless of whether the container is comprised of multiple purchase orders and/or multiple vendors. Since each container can have different taxes, freight, duty, handling and other associated costs in local or foreign currencies, King Par will know exactly what the actual cost of goods sold is. With minimal effort, the actual gross margin and profitability of each item is known. No other solution can provide this breadth and depth along with high-volume capabilities, supported by such a technologically advanced application architecture as that of EliteSeries.

King Par is scheduled to go live with EliteSeries 7.2 in September 2004. The company is headquartered in Flushing, Michigan, and has warehouses in Flint, Michigan, and Brea, California.
