TECSYS Inc. Launches European Operations

The Company Expands its Reach to Gain New Market Share

MONTREAL, March 16, 2005 — TECSYS Inc. (TSX: TCS), an industry-leading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software company, announced today that it is launching its European operations under the name TECSYS Europe Limited. The new company will be formed with experienced local partners who will hold a minority interest in the business.

According to Peter Brereton, President and Co-CEO of TECSYS, “With the changing business environment, manufacturing is being moved offshore and consolidated, thus the distributors (our primary customers) are becoming international conglomerates.” Brereton added, “We have an opportunity to be guided by our market and expand into Europe for the benefits of our customers and as a platform for growth. The larger ERP or SCM projects are generally multinational in scope and provide great opportunities for our multinational enterprise software suite. In fact we have already taken several implementations live in Portugal and Spain to prove our early successes.”

TECSYS’ suite of enterprise distribution applications is inherently multinational and provides multilingual (English, French, Spanish, German and Portuguese), multi-currency, and multi-organizational capabilities “right out of the box”. Such capabilities are a result of the continued investments in R&D in the past several years to strategically position the business for expansion. The company believes the time is right to broaden its multinational sales and services capabilities to take advantage of its strengths. TECSYS has been well served for a number of years through TECSYS Latin America and is leveraging its experience in international reach to make this move.

TECSYS is in the process of implementing its organizational structure with the European staff and expects commencement of operations in the UK in May of this year.
