TECSYS Inc. Acquires an SAP Consulting Practice

The Company, well known for "Enabling Supply Chain Excellence", further expands its leadership position in Logistics Management

MONTREAL, March 31, 2005 — TECSYS Inc. (TSX: TCS), a leading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software company announced today that it has acquired all the shares of Symplistech Inc. (Symplistech), a leading Canadian consulting practice specialising in the implementation of SAP solutions.

"We enable supply chain excellence. Small, medium and large companies with the need to purchase, store, and ship large volumes of product with high accuracy come to us. Many of them already run SAP but now need to expand into the warehouse. Others have a corporate head office SAP strategy and run our EliteSeries in their branches and warehouses." said Dave Brereton, Executive Chairman and Co-CEO of TECSYS Inc. "TECSYS is pleased to announce that we will now offer the expertise of a thriving SAP consulting group to meet these needs. This group will be an integral part of the TECSYS family operating as part of our Logistics Management Group (formerly ASI). Symplistech is profitable and we expect this transaction to be accretive to earnings."

Headquartered in St.Catharines, Ontario, Symplistech was founded in 1998 and has become a full service SAP consulting practice for manufacturing, warehousing and distribution businesses. Symplistech has had a great track record in successful SAP implementations for more than 16 customers in the United States and Canada. The customer base includes companies in consumer packaged goods, utilities, government, electronics manufacturing and mining industries. Some of the brand name clients are: Panasonic Canada, Teck Cominco, Siemens, Tersano and World Kitchen.
