    Tecsys Leaders Valerie Bandy and Neeta Garg Receive Prestigious 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award

    Award recognizes exemplary female supply chain leaders whose accomplishments have set a foundation in empowering all women in the industry.

    Fort Atkinson, WI. Sept. 18, 2023 — Tecsys Inc. (TSX: TCS), an industry-leading supply chain management software company, is proud to announce that Valerie Bandy and Neeta Garg have been recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as winners of its 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award. For the past four years, this award has recognized the accomplishments of female supply chain leaders who have made distinguishable marks in the supply chain industry.

    This year’s honorees include individuals and teams from software and service providers, consultancies and academia, trucking and transportation firms, professional development agencies, sourcing and procurement divisions. These women have helped supply chain clients and the supply chain community at large prepare to meet many of today’s — and tomorrow’s — challenges.

    Tecsys is privileged to highlight two of those winners, Valerie Bandy and Neeta Garg.

    Valerie Bandy 

    As a licensed and registered pharmacist with 25 years of experience, Valerie Bandy has managed critical operations at more than 100 hospitals, overseen multi-billion-dollar budgets, and tackled multi-million-dollar cost-saving targets, She has served on committees and in officer roles at the local, state, and national level including TSHP (Texas Society of Health System Pharmacists), ASHP (American Society of Health System Pharmacists), MSHP, and other professional boards and foundations. Prior to joining Tecsys, she was the director of Pharmacy at Wellstar’s Atlanta Medical Center in downtown Atlanta after leaving Trinity Health’s corporate office where she was the system director of Pharmacy. She also worked for five years on the Healthcare Provider Performance Improvement team under Strategy and Operations as a Specialist Master for Deloitte Consulting, LLP, and on the Healthcare Provider team at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She holds experience in the full spectrums of pharmaceutical manufacturing, regulatory compliance, technology, billing, and operations industries. In her current role, she serves as a valuable source of innovative pharmacy operations insights amongst her peers within and outside of Tecsys.

    Neeta Garg

    With 20 years of experience in the software industry, Neeta has built her supply chain career over the last 13 years at Tecsys. Joining as a senior application developer in 2010, she now serves as the delivery director for Retail, where she has successfully led the implementation of complex supply chain order management solutions globally resulting in smoother operations, heightened efficiency, and cost reductions. Neeta’s expertise extends to optimizing various aspects of supply chain management, including inventory management, order management, and fulfillment. Neeta has implemented end-to-end order management solutions such as global ship-to-home from warehouse, ship-to-home from store, and buy online pick up in-store workflows, leading to reduced errors, faster order processing, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Her leadership and dedication to refining supply chain operations is well exercised through podcasts, education and training, thought leadership and customer implementations.
