Innovation moves faster when the people closest to the work have room to build.

That is the idea behind Innovators’ Spotlight, our employee innovation program that celebrates practical, employee-led ideas using Tecsys technology to solve real operating problems.

Now in its second year, Innovators’ Spotlight continues to show the range of ideas taking shape across the company. This year, seven teams presented live at Tecsys User Conference (TUC) 2026, with ideas spanning real-time delivery tracking, AI-assisted accounts payable reconciliation, warehouse floor visibility, inbound order optimization, point-of-use data strategy and cross-site warehouse benchmarking. TUC attendees voted for their favorite project through a live poll in the conference app.

The 2026 winning project came from Pelle Varricchio and Amine Haddaji: Interface Monitoring Powered by TecsysIQ™, a dashboard designed to help delivery and support teams identify interface issues faster.

The problem behind the idea

In complex warehouse, distribution and hospital supply chain environments, data has to move reliably across multiple systems. Orders flow from host systems into Tecsys Elite™. Inventory data moves between applications. Transactions post where they need to post.

In any environment with this many connected systems, an interface can occasionally stall, and finding the source has traditionally meant checking table after table and system after system, sometimes reviewing multiple tables and channels and taking roughly 45 minutes before troubleshooting can even begin. Catching that kind of stall proactively, before it affects processing, is what Interface Monitoring is built to do.

Bringing interface health into one view

At TUC 2026, Pelle demoed a single-screen dashboard that shows a live pipeline view of data flowing upstream and downstream across systems that integrate with Elite. The dashboard uses color-coded signals to show where attention is needed. When a user clicks into a flagged node, they can see the specific queue, error count and transaction record behind it, with a direct link back to Elite, turning a process that could take up to 45 minutes into something a team can spot and act on right away.

The project also reflects the broader direction of TecsysIQ: bringing data together so teams can see what is happening earlier and act with more confidence. In this case, Pelle and Amine applied that idea to a challenge inside Tecsys’ own Delivery organization.

This year’s winner also builds on the momentum from last year’s Innovators’ Spotlight, when CareFlow later became available to Tecsys’ healthcare customers as TecsysIQ for POU.

Pelle and Amine will continue developing the project and are expected to present the next iteration at the annual Tecsys employee event in September.

Congratulations to Pelle and Amine and to everyone who submitted or presented an idea this year. Innovators’ Spotlight reflects the practical curiosity behind Tecsys innovation: people who understand the work deeply, see where friction slows progress and build ideas that can help teams and customers move with more clarity and confidence.
